| My name is
Lisbeth Arentzen. I am 27 years old, born 11. May 1974. |
|
| I live in a flat with my boyfriend Heinze. | Heinze is
supervisor at NEG Micon – a Danish turbine company. My mother, father and younger brother are farmers. |
| I have just
started in a new job in a large Danish bank - Jyske Bank - , where I work as a consultant
for different kinds of firms: tradesmen, factories, shops etc. Moreover I am responsible for the credit policy in our department. |
This summer I got the diploma in business administration and finance. |
| My hobbies are horseback riding and gymnastics, and once a week I teach a gymnastic team. | |
On holidays we like to travel to foreign countries and
meet different people and their cultures. |

| Since
1996 I have been employed as head of the Commercial Council Office in the Community of
Hadsund. It is a very interesting job with
contact to a lot of people, and there is never two days who is similar. The task of the Commercial Council of Hadsund is to bring together all the forces, who wish to contribute to the prosperity and progress of the municipality of Hadsund. |
Presently, the Commercial Council counts 190 member companies with approximately 5000 employed. |
In my private sphere there
is three women, whom means everything for me: We
live in a small town, Hadsund, with 6,000 inhabitants, and 11,000 in the Municipality of
Hadsund. My interests are sports (especially soccer), culture, history, politics, literature and nature. |
Lene is a teacher in a kindergarten and is planning to start studying again next year. |
I look forward to visit
North America. I look forward to learn more about the
American society in general. |
The social part of the trip is also
very important to me. I like to meet new people, and I hope to make relationships that
will go on. I am proud to be a Dane, and for me it is an honor to be selected to represent Denmark/North Jutland at The Rotary Foundation Group Study Exchange. |

| After growing up in the southern part of Denmark, I moved to Aalborg 5 years ago. | |
| Since 1994 I
have worked in Sydbank, Denmark’s fourth largest bank. Today I am a banking consultant in our department for private customers in Aalborg |

| Though the years I have taken part in many various associations - both within sports, music and girl scouts. At the moment I concentrate on playing the flute and on rowing. | |
I love making creative thing with my hands – I have tried many types of needlework and I am always ready to learn something new. |

| Since
1997 I have been member of Aalborg Rotaract. In 1999 and 2000 I was guiding the Rotary DK Euro Bus Tour – a three week long tour though Europe arranged for YE students staying in Denmark. However, this is my first time traveling outside Europe. |

| I live with my wife Tina on the island of Mors in the northwestern part of Denmark - a little island with 23,000 inhabitants. | |
| In my spare time I
like playing golf, sailing, photography and watching motor sport,
especially Formula 1 and the Le Mans series.

| I have been a police officer since 1973, and 10 years ago I got my dream job as a village constable in Skørping, about 25 km south of the biggest city in the area, Aalborg. I have my office in our home - and therefore, I don' t have a long distance to my work. | |
| I am married to Elin and we have 2 children. | Our daughter is studying at Aarhus University (History) and our son, is right now in Guatemala, learning the Spanish language. He is going to study medicine at the Aarhus University later. |
| In our family we have hosted 5 YE students from different countries. | |
I am very active in outdoor life: I am an active hunter with my hunting dog "Ricky". Besides that, I am an active orienteerer and an International controller in orienteering. |

Rebild National Park Society Ltd. arranges every year, July 4’Th, the largest celebration outside US, with participants from all over the world, but primarily US and DK. |
